I've owned this lovely old Hawk 3 times in the last 25 years, I first bought it when I was 18 from the 2nd owner who was the 1st owners cousin the 1st owner ran a Rootes showroom in Ipswich and when he died his cousin bought it, the car has covered less than 73000 miles with plenty of history and paperwork to back this up, the old girl runs and drives superbly and the overdrive makes for a lovely cruiser, a new set of matching tyres 185/ 80/ 15, stainless steel exhaust and a new fuel tank also has electronic ignition all this makes it a very reliable everyday useable classic car, the Red interior is in good original condition and the chrome shines nicely, a very long story short I bought the car back apx 3 years ago on my 40th birthday as a present to myself I recommissioned the car after an 8 year rest and have been using it now and again but not as much as I should and due to this I've decided to sell it, although it's a very nice looking car there is some bubbling to the wheel arches and a couple of other areas all still covered by paint, my plan was to do a body and paint restoration but realistically I'll never get around to it, TPV 580 number will be removed as it's my plate and the original 1964 B reg plate will be fitted, any questions please ask please note this is not a concours car in perfect condition it's a nice looking useable classic that can be left as is or improved should the new owner wish, not currently mot'd but happy to mot for the new keeper, thank you.
