This one owner from new Datsun 260Z was garage stored and unused since 1991/ 92 up until 2017 when £950 was spent on getting it back up and running and MOT’D which passed with no advisories. The history file contains many old receipts and MOT’S from 1987, 1988, 1990 and 1991. The 1991 MOT shows mileage of 41, 224 and only 800 miles have been covered during the last twenty six years. The invoice for all the work carried out to pass its MOT is present, which included new disks, brakes and oil service. The mileage is warranted which makes this car even more rare with only 42, 000 miles!

While the 260Z is not held in the same light as the world famous 240Z, it is still a winner in the price/ performance category. There is a very large Z community world wide, with information on how to modify these cars in any way you can dream of. From V8 swaps to twin turbo, you can do just about anything with the first generation Z car and always have people admiring the classic styling of the body.
Mechanics
The 260Z has a naturally-aspirated In-line 6 cylinder engine, Petrol motor, with the engine code L26.
This engine produces a maximum power of 164 PS at 5600 rpm and a maximum torque of 213. 0 Nm at 4400 rpm. The power is transmitted to the road by the rear wheels with a 5 speed Manual gearbox.
