Description
1973 Morris Mini/ Wolseley van
A very rare opportunity to purchase as near to new condition mini van, probably unrepeatable. The photos and the write up won't do this little gem justice, really does need to be seen to be fully appreciated.
The late previous keeper has owned for 39 years and was his daily runabout til the early 90's when he chose to rebuild the van, by trade a master craftsman his work shows on the van, its truely stunning and after 20 years growing up around classic cars I haven't ever seen attention to detail like it, if you was to build a van today to this standard and using genuine parts like this, you would have to spend in excess of £30k. Forgetting the build cost part, I think you would struggle to find a craftsman with such skills to build a vehicle to this standard.
Firstly the parts where all sourced, of most being genuine new or reconditioned and the full build took over 4 years to complete. I walk round the van just smiling, thinking how did he think of that....
I could sit here for hours reading and writing about the van, there is a record for every single itemised part, from the handmade wiring looms telling you what colour and even what length each individual wire is and does!
since rebuild in the early 1990's the van has done very little, the speedo is reading 10 miles this could be the case, everything still looks and feels like new.
