EXTERIOR:
Finished in the distinctive Malachite Green metallic (249U), this twenty seven year old example is remarkably original throughout. The coachwork is exceptionally straight down the flanks & will benefit greatly from detailing & general improvements. The overall structure of the car is very good, the result of many years in storage.
INTERIOR:
Ordered & built with contrasting Fir Green Sports cloth upholstery. The upholstery is pure 90's!! The seats, carpets & headlining are in superb condition, all still rich in colour & remains totally original. The interior also boasts the ultra rare & desireable 'Sportline' steerling wheel - this option is a much smaller than standard item, leather wrapped & now exceptionally valuable!
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION:
Built With The 'M102' 1997cc engine is mated to a four speed automatic transmission with sports & economy functions. Upon workshop inspection, the engine starts with ease & drives nicely in all gears. Naturally, we advise some recommissioning beofre use.
HISTORY FILE:
Originally supplied by 'Brookes' Mercedes Benz main dealership in Dartford, Kent to a local gentleman, a Mr Bennett. The ownership was then passed into his wifes name in 2009. Later that year, a local Wimbledon gentleman purchased the 190E & has remianed with him until today. The car was enjoyed over a four year period until the car was parked in dry storage until her discovery this month.
