For sale is my 1971 Triumph 2000 converted 2dr saloon which was professionally done more than 23 years ago. It is fitted with a 2500 TC engine running Hs6's, Borg-Warner 65 transmission, power steering and 3:45 rear axle. It is also fitted with Triumph Stag seats which do need redoing but are still quite comfortable. A 2500S dash was fitted 5 years ago as well.
It has gone through a complete brake, drive train, rear axle and power rack overhaul last May and runs nicely.
The body is needing some rust repair to the n/ s front wheel arch and drivers door is showing paint blisters. The car would benefit a respray as this was resprayed in 1999. This car was assembled in New Zealand at the Nelson plant and therefore is very solid underneath. Last June we completed a 4280 kilometre run to France.
The 2dr Triumph was displayed at the NEC in 2014 and also had a write up in Triumph World in early 2015.
