Guards Red with black leather is such a classic Porsche colour scheme that it’s surprising how few 986 Boxsters were ordered in this specification. We absolutely love them here at Flat Six Classics, and it seems our customers do too, as every time we get a Guards Red car in, it sells almost immediately.
It obviously helps when the examples we stock are low mileage cars in lovely condition, and V73 FPB ticks those boxes as well. With just 44, 323 miles covered in almost 20 years, this very early Stuttgart-built 3. 2 S has a good service history with 14 stamps in the service record, the first 10 at Porsche main dealers.
The 2000 model year 3. 2 S cars built between September 1999 and mid-2000 include some features that mark them out as the first of their type – a vented scuttle panel, light grey carpets to the luggage compartments, and mechanical levers for the boot and bonnet releases, along with the early type instrument cluster.
In super condition inside and out, we have prepared V73 FPB for sale with a Major service, brake fluid change, new spark plugs, new AC condensers and exhaust fittings. The car has a great specification, with heated leather seats, automatic air conditioning and a 6-disc CD changer (remember those?). It even still has its original Porsche Design umbrella in the passenger side sill cubby!
