Simple and effective, the XR range appeared in 1979 and has been a marvel for years. Solid motorcycles, powerful and easy to maintain, they have rewards several generations of endurists!
the model presented here is the 3rd generation, which was the most successful at the time. It adopts an aggressive line, a big Showa fork, the CR Prolink, and a front disc brake. The engine now has the famous cylinder head RFVC whose valves are positioned radially to the axis of the cylinder.
This XR 500 is in excellent condition and substantially original. It has been well maintained over time but kept its patina and traces of wear that make all its charm and authenticity. The big highlight of this XR is that it is road homologated, with a normal gray card type Honda and non-PEM-DA or other certification isolated. The electrical equipment works as well as the original meter.
