A rare and mesmerizing 500 SEL long wheel base W126 model. The ultimate colour combination of metallic blue black with cream leather. This car has the following options: Air conditioning, cruise control, electric seats, electric windows, sunroof, electric passenger mirror. This was quite the luxury list for back in the day. I have 2 keys with the car and some history - the last owner did the work on the car himself. I have spend several thousands of pounds on this car, all work being carried out by the SEC shop in Kent. This includes a full service, replacement prop-shaft bearings, a full under-seal treatment, repairing the cruise control (it now works), new bonnet pad etc. I have the full invoice showing all of the the work. This car still does need work, but it is not a heap - it is far too good to scrap. It will need two new wings and some body work. I have already sourced the front bumper chrome but it will near the rear as well. Water does leak into the boot and into the foot-well. It needs a new A/ C condenser and the speedometer stopped working last week. I do not have the time nor the funds to fix this machine up, but I certainly will not scrap her nor give her away. She is parked under a car cover on my drive to keep the rain out (I dried the boot and footwells with a de-humidifier) This car was going to be my project but I cannot justify the expense. The engine does not miss a beat and has a re-assuring roar to it. The ride is sublime and no issues with the transmission.
