Here for sale is a 1954 fordson thames ET6 this is fitted with 4D engine which was also known as the 'ford industrial' engine I bought this vehicle last September with the great intention of restoring it and getting it back on the road however this is something I am no longer going to be able to complete and due to this I'd rather let it go to someone who can! It would be a shame for another to just drop off the radar, these are very few and far between, not like there younger brother that most people think of when you say ford Thames these early bonneted models are getting thin on the ground now, the chassis is solid and has never welded, it still has the original tipping ram and pump with resiviour however the body is sadly long gone so how you see it in the pictures is how it is now, I started to remove bits and pieces but can put them back on if the buyer requests, but my guess is you will be restoring it yourself any way so the bits ive removed all ready will save you time, i have since removed the drivers door, bonnet, grill and radiator, this is running and moves under its own power, breaks need a bit of attention tyres are pretty shot most hold air but will need replacing before going back on the road, sadly I do not have the V5 the old owner had the original brown paper log book however they where struggling to find it but said they would send it over once found, however since then I have downloaded a form so the new owner can apply for a new log book when ready with the fee of £25. 00 sadly the seats are missing and so is the passenger windscreen there is little bits here and there however all round it is a very good restoration project waiting to happen, very solid little truck,
