Bursting with driver appeal and making a very sensible purchase, this Gulf Orange '70 has been thoughtfully improved; it's faster, sharper, lighter.
With significant investment done, it needs nothing and is ready to enjoy.
Featuring a recently rebuilt 2. 2 on a set of Weber carbs, breathing through K & N style filters. SSI heat exchangers and lightweight alloy flywheel all help to extract more power and better response from the motor. The five speed transmission has been overhauled and resealed by Mike Bainbridge with a Quaife Limited Slip Differential installed. The linkage has been re bushed. Driveshafts were cleaned, repacked and new boots fitted.
All new suspension bushes have been fitted, with Turbo tie rods, 19 and 23mm torsion bars, 15mm front anti roll bar, adjustable drop links and larger rear anti roll bar. Then its been 4 wheel aligned. Brake calipers have been rebuilt along with a new master cylinder plus discs, pads and handbrake shoes.

The body appears very nice and presents well, having received new paint in Gulf Orange. It's had new seals fitted, new window trims front and rear, Euro light lenses, badges, checkstraps, fog lamp covers plus a multitude of detail work. Panel alignment is neat. Riding on new 15" Maxilite Fuchs replica alloys, it looks just great.
Inside you find the original door cards and pockets in nice shape, neat carpets and dash. The sun visors have been replaced. The seats are new, finished in leather and houndstooth.
We like this 911, it's got spirit, it's got attitude and it needs nothing other than firing up on a Sunday and exercising regularly. We grade it as a strong 3. If you fancy a few little changes to your taste or even some ST arches we can help. Cool car!
