Motodrome offer for sale this very smart looking 1973/ L Land Rover Series III 88in Diesel 7 seater, finished in Marine Blue with Limestone roof & wheels.
Fitted with rear bench seats (with the middle seat this makes it a seven seater at a pinch) a matching set of 4 recent General Grabber tyres , chequerplate to modesty covers, mudflaps, rear step, and towbar
The original 3 bearing engine has been replaced with a later, stronger ‘10J’ 5 bearing variant (still 2286cc) and mechanically it’s in very rude health – I completed a 75 mile drive in it on purchase and it performed faultlessly.
Odometer reading 78000 miles. According to the previous owner, he bought it a couple of years ago as an unfinished restoration that had been off the road at least 15 years, with the chassis and body completed, and has spent the past 2 years bringing it up to standard with a wealth of new mechanical and electrical parts, and it’s now a thoroughly sorted example
Being a 1973 example, it of course qualifies for both road tax and MOT exemption.
