1990 “G” MERCEDES-BENZ 560 SEC - “C126”
Fresh into stock this week is one of two Mercedes Benz 560 SEC’s . This particular example has covered an incredibly low mileage of only 72000 supported by a fantastic service history documenting just how well maintained it has been over the years.
Finished in a very period colour combination of champagne metallic over chocolate leather interior trim.
This car actually originally resided in Hong Kong before coming to the UK in 2007, the chassis received a full waxoyl treatment in 2008 which explains why the underside of this vehicle displays no signs of rust and remains in excellent condition , in addition to this it has remained in dry storage here in the UK pretty much all of its life. I have photographs to substantiate this.
The car has only had 3 owners and has a fantastic history having been looked after predominantly by marque specialists “the sec shop” in Kent. The vehicle has recently passed it’s MOT with no advisories. There are some impressively large bill’s in the service history also such as replacing all of the door seals, new heater fan, new cruise control module, engine valve stem seals, new outer door glass drop seals, new air con pump, new radiator, thermostat and viscous coupling.
This is an extremely attractively priced sec, allowing for the fact that it needs a few minor paint repairs that we are simply too busy to do or we would be rectifying and pricing at £19950. Important to note that it has ZERO RUST on the body in all the usual problem areas such as wheel arches , front and rear wings, rear screen surround and all the areas where the plastic trim meets the body panels, this is due toit being well protected from early in its life and living in a dry country for the 1st seventeen years. The marks are relatively superficial and consist of some parking scuffs on the bumpers and an odd small chip and scratch here and there. I have done a video highlighting these as they are not that visible in the main photos to the naked eye.
