Description
My 1992 Saab 9000 CS Carlsson is up for sale. I need a more modern car as my daily driver so this has to go.
Pro's:
MOT until March 2021
Drives well
Solid front underside and around engine block
Interior mostly great (bar sagging headliner - it's an old Saab, they do this!)
New silicon hoses
New upgraded clutch cable
New exhaust
New driver's side front wheel bearing
Recently serviced
Con's
Rear underside needs welding (not strucural, rear three quarters)
Needs treating elsewhere towards the rear of the underside.
Rust in bottom of all four doors and around wheel wells
Wheels starting to corrode
Knocking in reverse gear.
Interior fan works at full blast or not at all (minor issue which hasn't bothered me)
Slightly under-powered for a Carlsson, vacuum hoses would be the first thing to look at.
Low fuel light has stopped working very recently.
Aforementioned sagging headliner.
Rear spoiler and wing mirrors could do with a lick of paint.
Car needs a loving home and TLC to do it justice. Still a solid driver and you won't see another one!
