Introduction
Here at Old Colonel Cars we have an excellent example of the Ferrari F355 Spider. A LHD example with 61, 000 Miles, finished in Le Mans Blue. This 1997 example started life in Germany, then at 3 years old came to the UK. This F355 has always been looked after by either Ferrari or well respected Ferrari specialists. The car benefits from an excellent, fully documented service history.
The F355 was produced between 1994 and 1999. The design of this car was always to not only improve performance, over the earlier 348, but to make the F355 much more usable than previous models, especially around town. When it was launched, everybody praised it and now its a very popular car to have in any collection. This example features the 6 speed manual gearbox along with a convertible roof. The handling is just right, but its the engine that the star of the show, high revving with the perfect engine note.
This is the last of the hand built Ferrari’s, but it also is the first to really embrace modern technology.

Finished In Le Mans Blue, a rare colour which looks striking on this example. The bodywork and paintwork are in excellent condtion, a lovely deep all over shine.
Inside is a Light Great leather interior with complimenting Black trim and Charcoal deep pile carpets. Its a lovely place to be, the famous chrome gear selector is so iconic now.
The 18inch alloys on this example are all in excellent condition, all fitted with the correct Pirelli tyres, all with plenty of tread remaining.
Engine / Gearbox
For the F355, in designing the new 3. 5 F129B V8 engine, Ferrari took alot of its design and inspiration from the its F1 team of the day. Using five valve per cylinder technology, Titanium rods, the rev limit was raised to 8500 RPM. The result is a superb engine, producing 375 BHP, brilliant to drive with a thrilling soundtrack.
The 6 Speed gearbox on this car feels just right. The clutch is relatively light to use, going along way to making these so nice to drive.
History
This F355 comes with a fully documented service history. We have all the original manuals, a fully stamped original service book, a very well organised folder of old MOT’s and Service receipts completing the maintenance history on this well cared for car.
