I bought this super rare T100 Centennial while living in Alberta Canada in January 2012. The mileage is 17, 302.
The bike had 24, 483 KM`s (15213 miles) on the clock when I brought it back to the UK in Nov. 2012.
Because the Canadian clocks were KPH only, I bought an MPH clock from ebay with 4811 Miles on it. The bike now has 6900 on these clocks, so the sum total is 17, 302 miles from new!
The bike is in lovely condition and is mechanically perfect. I have had it serviced each year regardless of the very low mileage between services. All MOT`s and service receipts since the bike returned to the UK are available, as are the Canadian registration documents. Very recent chain and sprocket kit, very good tyres and excellen Motad exhausts with removable baffles. These look the same as standard Triumph exhausts, but weigh less and sound better without being too loud. Always passes the MOT with baffles in.
Centre stand, and pannier rails (easily removed if not required) also included along with pannier bags.
The only cosmetic issue is the fact that the chrome has gone from much of the right hand clutch case. It was like that when I bought it, and while I initially intended to get it re-chromed or replaced, I soon stopped noticing it and forgot about it. If it bothers you it really is an easy fix.
The bike is currently fitted with colour correct Thruxton shorty mudguards and two inch risers on the handlebars. I think it looks great like this, but it will come with the original full length mudguards, so returning it to absolute standard will be a quick and easy job. The bike will also be supplied with the original KPH clocks, and the original headlight. It is currently fitted with a new UK headlight.
This is a carb Bonnie that was made entirely at the Hinckley factory in Leicestershire. As such it could be argued that it represents one of the last of the truly English Triumph Bonneville's. On top of that it is one of the few Centennial Bonnie's that was manufactured before the fire.
A lovely bike, and an appreciating classic. Reluctant sale due to lack of use and lack of space.
