Beschreibung
Craner Classics are delighted to offer this MGB Roadster in striking metallic red, the deep all-over shine adding to its allure.
Date First Registered: 1979
VIN Chassis No.: GHN5-478010G
This Roadster is powered by an 1800cc engine which is very responsive, and an excellent manual gearbox with overdrive. The steering and suspension have a very tight feel and is great fun to take out on open country roads. The chrome is in superb condition, as the photos show.
The cylinder head has been fully converted to unleaded, with hardened valve seats. All paperwork to this effect supplied.
The car is fitted with a stainless steel exhaust system, and as mentioned the engine has been converted to run on modern unleaded fuel. So far the odometer is showing 70, 000-odd miles, and the car is looking and feeling in great shape for it.
The interior features black leather seats and deep red, thick pile carpets throughout, all of which are in immaculate condition, and in keeping with the stylish look and feel the car is furnished with a beautiful wooden dashboard. Our Roadster also has a sporty wooden MG steering wheel - a fine finishing touch to the car's interior decor.
Regarding the exterior, the car has recently been fitted with new alloy wheels which really do complement its deep metallic shine.
This particular Roadster is an outstanding example, and comes with a binder of documentation, receipts, etc which show how well it's been looked after over the years and how much money has been lavished on it to keep it in such excellent condition. And having recently celebrated its 40th birthday in style, this Roadster is now tax-exempt.
The car is now ready for viewing, so if you would like to arrange an appointment to view or book a test drive please get in touch at Craner Classic Cars, The Gate House, Nottingham.
