With retro styling cues from the original 60’s Toyota FJ’s and originally introduced as a concept car, the new FJ cruiser has rugged and durable hose down rubber flooring trim throughout, water resistant seating, upright windscreen (with triple wipers!) chunky oversized controls (designed for gloved hands), selectable 4WD with A-TRAC control, A/ C , PDC and reverse camera.
With FJ production now ceased, it's undoubtedly a modern classic - think a Japanese “New Defender” in theory, but without the £60k or so price tag or over complex electronics.
These now cult vehicles are more than capable off road, in their 60s inspired colours and Land Cruiser underpinnings, ooze durability reliability and build quality. On the road, the silky smooth Lexus-like dual VVTI 4. 0 V6 offers an amazingly comfortable, quiet ride.
Noticeably free from noisy diesel burning engine sounds, rattles, wind noise, water ingress, steamed up windows and road noise! Sorry old Defender - love them too, really.
This one is finished in Voodoo blue, it seems to change in different light conditions .
Available with cool black steels or alloys, you choose. Rear wheel cover included but not shown, FJ Upgrades available extra including Factory roof rack and Baja basket , only one of each rack available though so first come first served.
