Welcome to the listing of our Rover Coupe ‘tomcat’ 218 VVC in the stunning amaranth finish.
This is not your ‘normal’, average 218 Coupe, this one is slightly more special.
This beauty is the last Rover Coupe ever made. The chassis number and number plate authenticate this along with a sheet signed by every person that participated in building her.
In her lifetime she has had thousands spent on her, just to name some of the things:
- Head skimmed/ rebuilt/ upgraded head/ gasket/ new head bolts
- Clutch
- Gearbox stripped and rebuilt
- Alternator
- Brake calipers
- Cam seals
- Crank seals
- Cambelt
- Entire clutch system
- Catalytic converters
- Fuel pump replaced with brand new unit and rewired/ adapted to prevent corrosion.
As you can see, she has been loved.
A stunning car to own with a very special twist. Her bodywork is very good, not perfect by any means but good for her age and anybody that has owned her has taken full advantage of her usability.
She is not a show queen but would not take much to achieve that if you wish.
I’m sure a few Rover enthusiasts are viewing this, so I’m going to point out the fact she isn’t sitting on her original VVC wheels. She has actually got genuine BRM wheels on her which I preferred and are quite rare themselves.
At the time of sales, I will put a full MOT on her and get a thorough service done.
Please don’t hesitate to ring with any questions, I’m happy to help.
I’ve priced her accordingly, considering all aspects.
Kindest regards,
J Adams
