My 993 carrera 2s with the desirable 6 speed manual gearbox is regrettably for sale.
this is a very sought after car nowadays, i’ve owned 911’s from almost every era and genuinely feel the 993 2s offers the best all round experience. I will be very sad to see it go as i highly doubt i’ll ever be able to replace it for the same money i’m asking.
it’s had just 4 owners since new, the last owner was a porsche club gb member of 20 years and purchased the car in his late 50’s, it’s led a very easy and pampered life, it’s always been garaged and has received whatever it’s needed to remain in tip top condition, it may have covered higher mileage than some out there but i can guarantee, if you drove it, you simply wouldn’t believe it.
original supplied by hr owen on the 17/ 04/ 1997, finished in arctic silver metallic with boxster red leather with the optional hard back sport seats.
further options include: 18” technology wheels, rear wiper, top tinted windscreen, air conditioning, 3rd brake light, sun roof and red brake calipers.
it’s recently had 4 new pirelli p-zero tyres, the only upgrades are a lightweight rs clutch and flywheel and cargraphics exhaust system as recommended by ninemeister, the headlights have also been upgraded to halogen units as everyone knows, the 993’s original headlights are awful.
brake discs, pads, calipers, suspension components etc have always been replaced with oem parts as soon as it has been necessary to change them, you will tell by the cars mot history, it’s been maintained to such a high standard, it has hardly ever received an advisory on an mot.
the cars condition is beautifully original, it’s had paint protection film from factory on part of the bonnet, front bumper and wing mirrors, as such the car has been well protected, every panel is arrow straight and ever panel gap perfect, there is absolutely no rust to speak of, anywhere.
the interior is absolutely superb, it defies its age and mileage with very minimal wear, in all aspects, it’s genuinely better than some cars i’ve seen with half the mileage
the engine is extremely healthy, it has perfect oil pressure, uses no oil between services and is very rarely used on short runs so it’s always warmed up properly when used.
it’s been serviced yearly without fail at either its suppling porsche main dealer or porsche specialists apart from a period of dry storage between 2008-2012 when the previous owner was working abroad. It has every service stamp present, every invoice for every service present, every invoice for additional maintenance present, every paper copy of every mot present. It’s had regular brake fluid changes and regular condition reports carried out.

in summary, this is a superb car for anyone that wants to buy an extremely well sorted and well maintained 993 2s and use it for the purpose it was intended, i’m asking around 2/ 3 of the price of the cheapest manual example on the market, it was valued by pcgb last year at a much higher price than i’m asking. I want it to go to a good home for the right price, that said, i’d rather keep it than give it away so genuine enquiries only please.
remember, it’s a very original 911 that has been well loved and well used. It’s very tidy but a trailer queen, it is not! The best thing about it, it’s that there’s no fresh paintwork hiding anything, it’s extremely honest.

the car is fully hpi clear, it has 2 keys, both alarm fobs present, full owners wallet with all manuals present. It has its factory spare wheel and air compressor present too. It also has a tracker fitted on a yearly subscription which is fully paid up till may 2021.
