I’m having to sell my lovely 1956 Jaguar 2. 4 with manual overdrive to fund a new project.
This is one of the early eight bar grille models which was originally dispatched by Glovers of Ripon/ Harrogate on the 17th September 1956.
It has a very nice original suede green interior and Sherwood Green exterior paintwork.
This Jaguar also comes with its original and complete tool tray which is located on top of the spare wheel in the boot.
Everything including the clock works as it should.
The engine runs very well and the Moss gearbox, overdrive all engage nicely.
Mk2 front suspension has been fitted which lowers the roll centre improving the handling and Mk2 front disc brakes have also been fitted to improve braking efficiency.
The bodywork is solid without any rot and the floorpan is in excellent condition.
