1968 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow 1
We are absolutely delighted to have recently acquired this absolutely stunning early Black pearl Rolls Royce Silver Shadow 1. These early 6. 2 shadows fitted with chippendale dash are one of the rarest shadows made.
This particular car is in absolutely amazing condition owing to the fact it received a full bare metal respray at huge expense in 2019. Anyone in the know or who has worked on these cars in the past will understand just how much is involved in preparing the body for paint on these cars , it takes over a day just to strip one door!! The quality of the repaint is evident when you realise that all exterior trim was removed, all glass out also. The wing bottoms can be known to be a weak spot on these vehicles and this car has had all 4 removed and new wing bottoms welded in. When the car was re assembled it also had new front and rear screen seals fitted as well as new door seals also. These works were well in excess of five figures!
In addition to this the vehicle also is very good mechanically and benefits from recent new hydraulic pipes and replacement brake discs and calipers all round.
We are currently in the process of re connolising all the leather interior which will look absolutely wonderful - I will upload some before and after pictures once this is completed in the next few days. I also have some pictures of another shadow interior we recently refurbished to the same standard in another shadow we sent to Germany recently.
