3rd owner, my brother bought the car with less than 20k on it
unfortunately 2 months after buying it, a lorry clipped the top of the drivers rear quarter by the spoiler and dented it and broke the light, the insurance company said it would cost too much to fix and offered him £400, he used the money and had it repaired to a very good standard, but unfortunately, the insurance company classified the car a cat c, uneconomical repair. Which is a shame for such a low mileage car.
my brother now has a new car and has given me this to tidy up and sell
i have bought 2 new wishbones, 2 new drop links and two new d bushes to go on the car because the front end drifts on acceleration.
headliner needs replacing, new headlining material and glue comes with the car.
the car needs welding on the rear chassis rail (pictured) and the bottoms of the front wings, also pictured. Plus there are some scabs on the drivers rear arch which i bought paint for to repair, but i am now selling the car.
i did make a start on one side, i got one drop link off with the angle grinder as the nuts were spinning, then i tried to get a bolt out of the wishbone but it rounded off, i tried knocking a smaller socket on to it but no joy, i have no way of getting it off as it's in a recess so i have no way of gripping it, in the end i gave up, put one of the new droplinks on and decided to just sell the car with the spares, with a little work this will make a nice low mileage example.
the engine is sweet, really quiet, the car runs very smooth and the gearbox is like new, you can feel it in the gearstick, it's still tight like a new car.
it had a new exhaust not so long back and a silver service last year.

car starts up great, drives great but front end drifts due to the worn wishbones, it's been to cornwall 3 times and scotland and wales in the last 3 years.
