A rather delightful 1948 Standard Flying 12 4-door saloon. Finished in an original Standard "blue", but in the metal more like an RAF grey.
The Twelve has a very nice interior having been treated to a new headlining sometime, and the front seats have been recently re-upholstered. The car drives extremely well and its 1600cc 4-cylinder engine pulls strongly and the gears select very smoothly for a car of its age. It is a really nice looking car, although there are some paintwork blemishes in places. Nothing that needs attention for the immediate future but could be improved over time, or left as is. It has a very nice patina in keeping with this era of car. It will not be out of place or shamed at a club meet or rally, but is a dependable, practical classic car to enjoy that presents very well.
