The production of the Alfa Romeo Montreal lasted between 1970-1977. And, this car was produced in 1972. Looks stunning in the bright red colour. This Alfa Romeo Montreal had a major restoration in 2018. All of the Montreal problem areas were corrected and the car today looks stunning. A lot of the rubber around the windscreens etc were replaced. The shiny bits are in very good condition. Today rolling on original 14” inch wheels with new tyres.
Interior: Black and red leather on the seats. The carpets and the rest of the trim in the car are in excellent condition. All instrument is in superb condition and working as they should. The Montreal has a very small backseat. You can fit two small children there, but my guess is that they would get unhappy pretty quickly. The well-known Spica system fuel injection system has been completely refurbished by a specialist in USA.
Engine: The styling of the Alfa Romeo Montreal is incredible. But, it is when you start the engine, the magic happens. It is only 200 hp so it is not as fast as some other Italian Guigiario designed cars from this era. However, with the look and the sound from the V8 engine, you feel classier than many more expensive cars. The five-speed dogleg shifts perfectly.
History: This Alfa Romeo Montreal for sale came to Sweden back in 1976 when it was imported from Germany. It has had the same owner since 2014. The Montreal comes with a thick binder of documentation. It has today a total travel of only 98, 000km. The last owner has invested a lot of money in this car. It is now ready for many trouble-free years of driving.
