Description
A beautiful 1939 Wolseley 10 with the last owner for 6 years. An older restoration, the car remains in excellent all round condition. Finished in mirror-black with a blue side flash, a sunroof, and lovely interior. A really nice example that would stand out in a show or rally.
This Wolseley runs and drives very well. These were unusual for the era, when compared to their contemporaries, in having an overhead valve engine. The 1160cc engine has 4 cylinders, runs good oil pressure and develops 40 bhp which was also more than its peers.
The Ten was the luxury small car of its time. The interior of this example has been completely restored including retrimmed seats and door cards in beautiful dove grey leather with blue piping, new headlining in blue wool and new carpets. The door cappings and dashboard are in walnut, also in very good condition, which gives a real feeling of quality.
It has been upgraded to 12v electric, and still retains working trafficators. Flashing indicators have also been installed, for additional safety.
