Lovely Gerald Palmer Wolseley in Yukon Grey fitted with a towbar, seat belts and modern indicators. The car is generally very sound with some corrosion on the boot floor. The paintwork is in generally good presentable condition as is the chrome. The seats are not as good as they look in the photographs being quite patinated. The rear seat has a repaired tear. The front seats are free of tears. All the instruments work including the clock which has a modern replacement mechanism. The carpets are not original and in average condition. The headlining is good. Woodwork is generally good as are the door cards. All the electrics work as they should with the exception of one trafficator but I use the modern indicators fitted. Mechanically the car runs and drives very well. The engine shows excellent oil pressure and maintains a steady working temperature under all driving conditions. The gearbox and clutch work well as they should. The brakes have been improved by a previous owner with the fitting of a servo. I have fitted new front shock absorbers and the car handles and rides as it should. The rack and pinon steering is precise and once the car is moving quite light. The car is fitted with modern radial tyres that are in good condition. Included with the car is a spare wheel, jack, starting handle, wheelbrace, original owners handbook and a factory workshop manual. The pleasure of this car is to be found in the smooth way it rides over our poor quality roads and the comfortable ambiance of the leather and wood cabin. The rack and pinion steering deliver a good driving experience. The flexible and torquey engine pulls well in top from under 30mph. The car is ready to use and enjoy as it is. A new owner may wish to improve some of the cosmetics and carry out a repair to the boot floor. The car is priced to sell because I need the space to accommodate a new car. I do not know very much about the car's history. The previous owner had it for quite a few years and maintained it well. During my and the previous ownership the car has always been garaged.
