This fantastic little ZM Coupe has covered just 14, 000 miles in the hands of three owners each of whom have clearly cherished the car as it remains in exceptional original condition in all respects. Finished in the great colour combination of Cosmos Metallic Black with Black and Imola Red leather interior it features the optional electric sunroof and Harmon Kardon Hifi upgrade along with heated seats and the original working BMW Business RDS stereo system.
The car was supplied new by BMW dealer Almondbury based in Huddersfield on the 8th February 2000. The original owner clearly loved the ZM has he kept it until 2015. Up until 2006 the car received occasional use in fine weather, the mileage at this point rising to 10, 000 miles. At this point he purchased a new car and considered selling the ZM as detailed in correspondence on file. However he found himself unable to part with it for a further nine years during which time the ZM was rarely used the mileage rising to just 12, 800 when it was offered for sale by BMW specialist John Holland in 2015.
Two further enthusiasts have subsequently enjoyed the car and have clearly continued to look after it very carefully as detailed in the comprehensive history file and original stamped service book. Last year the car was sent to a specialist for a full service and appraisal. His comprehensive report on file confirms that the car is completely original and in exceptional order in all respects.
On the road the car drives as it would have done when new with a tightness and precision to all the controls that only a lightly used and well looked example can exhibit.
It even smells like a new car inside. It comes with all books, tools, keys and the above mentioned history file.
