Description
An excellent example of TVR’s pretty 3000M and in a very attractive colour combination of metallic blue with biscuit interior. This really suits the car and makes a refreshing change from the 1970s beige that many 3000Ms are finished in.
The car was totally restored in 2006 and has been well maintained since, as shown by the history file that comes with the car.
The ‘Essex’ V6 starts instantly and shows good oil pressure. The car is a delight to drive with excellent road manners and with the car weighing a mere 950 kilos performance is more than respectable. The V6 exhaust note from the twin central tailpipes is quite intoxicating too.
The interior is very well presented with biscuit upholstery and contrasting navy blue carpets. A very tactile wood rimmed Mountney steering wheel is fitted which looks lovely.
The engine bay has been nicely detailed and new bonnet pins have recently been fitted.
An original handbook and some period TVR sales brochures come with the car.
This is as good an example of a 3000M that you are likely to find and with a production run of just 654 they are rare and desirable cars.
