Description
Here for your consideration is my really nice 1951 Plymouth Cranbrook Convertible p23 that i have been using all this year.
Production figure for the Convertible was only 4, 171 cars made, so a fairly rare car.
it's running a flat head six 3. 6 ltr engine with a 3 speed manual gearbox with overdrive which works as it should.
the paintwork on the car cleans up well and has a nice shine, it does have some marks here and there but still very usable. The chrome work and stainless trim is in very good condition.
the interior has been redone at some point and presents very well in a tw0 - tone design. The dashboard is just an amazing area to look at with all the gauges and speedometer in working condition. All the lights work on the dashboard and also has a nice toastie heater to keep you warm. The radio also still works.
all the doors lock with the key and also the trunk.
it also has a power convertible cloth top making it easy to put down and back up again. Has recently had a new convertible hydraulic top pump.
it drives remarkably well but does have crossply wide whitewall tyres that do wander about a bit as all crossply tyres do.
it's nice and clean underneath with a stainless exhaust system.
all in all it's a great convertible at a realistic price tag
£21, 500 ono or px taken on Classic American pre 1972 or British Classic
the car is in mansfield , notts
