Craner Classics are now delighted to offer this Almond Green Riley 4/ 72 in time for spring. These cars have become quite rare now, but we at Craners are always happy to have them pass through our hands.
This particular 4/ 72 is in fine order and runs excellently. The engine is smooth and quiet, and feels sturdy and responsive, and the 4-speed manual synchromesh gearbox changes beautifully without the slightest crunch or grind to propel the car along in comfort and style after all these years.
Ride quality and the pleasure of driving or riding in the car is enhanced by the very well-preserved interior, whose very comfortable green leather seats and matching door cards and practically spotless carpets all contribute to a car which captures a glorious era for British motoring and a credit to the UK motor industry of the day.
Everything about this Riley is honest and reliable. The arches are all nice and sharp, the chrome highlights are in outstanding condition, the engine bay has been kept very clean - always a good sign - the roof lining and vinyl above the wooden dashboard, the homely feel of the carpets, everything about this car is truly charming, and everything works as it should. Will make any discerning owner very proud.
