1979 vw type 2 camper with a rare, built for one year only, full length elevating devon conversion roof.
my family purchased lily, named by my daughter, in 2013 and have had some amazing adventures around the uk and lots of great memories were made. It is time now for another family or collector to enjoy this camper van.
when i was searching for a family friendly and reliable camper this one ticked all the boxes and she has certainly delivered on this.
marino yellow in colour with amazing body work, we got many compliments on her "lines" at the many shows we have taken her too, having been entered and won 1st prize for her category a few year. Ago.
she has 73, 930 miles on the clock. We have many receipts dating back to the previous owners from 1995 stating the works and additions.
while in our care, she has been stored in a dry humidified storage unit during the winter months and fully serviced each year. Any work that needed doing was always completed. she was well taken care of.
she is currently sorn due to the currant climate but a full service, mot and tax will be added.
she comes with a full length devon moonraker elevating roof that has comfortably slept many kids up there as well as a few adult.
the rear bench seat pulls out to a "rock n' roll" double bed.
she has a built in gas/ electric fridge, pumped water sink, gas hob and grill and a full 240v hook up with a couple of uk 3 pin plug sockets.
there is plenty of great storage and a rear wardrobe.
fully retractable seats belts fitted on drivers and passengers seats, 2 fully retractable seat belts fitted to the rear bench seat and a lap belt we had fitted to the seat to the rear of the passenger side.
for security, she comes with thatcham category immobiliser and alarm.
the 2 litre petrol engine has always driven great and has plenty of pull even when she is fully loaded.
as i have mentioned before this has been a great and reliable camper van but it is regrettably time for someone else to enjoy her.
