1969 S1 Lancia Fulvia 1. 6 Fanalone for sale. Clearly, it's been very well looked after throughout its life - and is in exceptional condition and ready for rallies and hill climbs - or just admiring in the garage.
I've owned her a couple of years, and imported it from Belgium, but it came from Spain originally. Recently been to Tanc Barratt - Lancia specialist, and had all 4 wheel bearings changed, new steering joints, CV joint, boots, alignment - and it now handles superbly. It's lovely and easy to drive - not harsh or difficult at all, just great fun. The suspension soaks up all of the bumps, but it doesn't roll around - Lancia got it spot on.
It's running on Dellorto 45s with a Grp4 manifold - low ratio box and some gears straight-cut. Chassis: 818. 540. 002090 with engine no. 818. 540. 2279. Plexiglass rear screen and quarters, standard tank and large capacity boot tank (foam filled). New 123 ignition that can run with a custom timing curve if you fancy a session at the rolling road.
Everyone loves to see this car and she always draws a crowd at meetings (and petrol station forecourts). I don't know of any others for sale in the UK at the moment. Selling to free up some space - but not in any rush. If it takes years or it doesn't sell - then I don't mind. Prices are on the rise, and this one would be difficult to replace - but I'll see if there's someone out there who wants it more than I do.
