Description
Lancia 2000 HF Coupé, year 1972. (First registered 20 July 1972). Chassis number 820. 436001. 288, engine number 820. 406001. 682. Colour: dark blue (Lancia Blu), combined with a beige leather interior and black carpet. This Lancia was originally sold new in Rome to Mr I. Ferduaurdo. In 2015, the car was imported from Denmark to the Netherlands. Over the past ten years, it has been maintained by Classic Job in Dalfsen. During that time, the gearbox has been replaced, new stainless-steel bumpers have been fitted and a stainless-steel petrol tank installed. All invoices from 2015 onwards are available. In the past, the Bosch petrol injection system was replaced by a Solex carburettor. This attractive Lancia is in very good condition and drives superbly! The Lancia 2000 Coupé is the successor to the Flavia 2000 Coupé. The original, very stylish design of the Pininfarina Lancia Flavia Coupé was modified in a few details. The Lancia logo was relocated from the bonnet to the grille, and the radiator grille was rendered in matte black with subtle chrome trimming. An important improvement was the introduction of a five‑speed gearbox. The 2000 HF was equipped with petrol injection and an advanced braking system (the so‑called Superduplex system) which ensured efficient braking, even in the event of a failure in one of the circuits. With these technical innovations and a limited production run of 1, 229 examples, the Lancia 2000 HF Coupé is an exclusive and rare collector’s car. It is one of our great favourites – we always have a selection of outstanding examples on display in our showroom!
