Classcicclassics are thrilled to offer this stunning Peugeot 205 GTi 1. 6 phase 2.
First registered on 29th May 1992 by Falkirk Peugeot dealer Alex Hardie. Looking at the original service book that accompanies the car it stayed in that area until 1994 then moved to the Blackford area In 1995 until 2000, where it had covered 38968 miles and had 11 services by that time. The next stamp we have in the book is in 2006 with the mileage of 42163 miles, so we assume the car had been off the road for a little while. The next stamp we have is in 2013 where the car had covered 72919 miles by a local garage to us here in Lincolnshire. They serviced the car a further 3 times and fitted a cambelt kit in March 2019 at 85042 miles. The last stamp again by a local garage is at 85254 miles in June 2020, the car now shows 85613 miles. As you can see this car has been loved and cherished.
Finished in Grey Metallic the 205 GTi was treated to a full window out re paint in October 2018 by a local professional body shop, and the result speaks for itself. Complemented by the virtually unmarked famous black and red flecked interior with red carpets this car looks superb. The unmistakeable 14” Speedline alloys have been recently refurbished and are wrapped in Goodyear tyres. A completely standard car even down to the Clarion radio cassette!
On the road the car performs great and handles like a go kart, it can’t help but put a smile on your face every time you are behind the wheel.
