Beschreibung
This is a very rare and beautiful 1954 right hand drive early oval Beetle.
Delivered new to Northern Ireland in 1954 to a school mistress, the car has spent most of it’s life in Northern Ireland, hence why it has never been to a show over here.
The car has a full known history which is really interesting. It has covered 54000 miles from new. It was tucked away for a number of years which is why it has survived so well.
It was subject to a light restoration a few years ago whilst maintaining as much originality as possible.
This really is a very special car and attracts attention wherever it goes. Being a 1954 it has all the desirable early oval features including ribbed doors, heart tail lights and single tail pipe exhaust.
The heater channels and floor pans are original to the car, as are the seats, floor mats and engine/ gearbox.
As you will know, RHD early ovals in this condition are few and far between, so if you are looking for a really nice RHD early oval, come and have a look and it could be the one you have been looking for.
