You will struggle to find a more clean, low mileage and well looked after version of Alfa's best sports saloon of recent times. Fabulous Busso engine- the best in the world, as voted by an international committee in it's day.
Reluctant sale, mainly due to total lack of use, due to lockdowns and now permanently working from home.
As you can see it is in the colour that suits the stunning shape so well: silver. The interior is in creamy grey MOMO leather. I have never experienced such quality leather, nor such comfortable seats. The leather is still firm yet supple as if it's a nearly new car. No sagging here! One reason is that the passenger and rear seats have almost never been sat on.
I've owned this for exactly 2 years and have completed 2, 000 miles in that time, 300 in the last 12 months. I can see that such little use will eventually affect the health of the car, so would like it to go to someone able to use it more.
Timing belt and water pump done in May 2019 at time of purchase, just 2000 miles ago, so won't need doing for a while.
It had been recorded as Cat-C write off due to boot lid damage a few years ago. Repaired perfectly and no ill affects. Has a nice, subtle stainless steel exhaust by the looks of it. There's a lovely factory sunblind for the rear window.
Starts on the button and has had minor and important improvements over the last 2 years. The gearbox is slick when cruising along and it has a Sport mode which really brings out the beast! It's a truly engaging drive and lifts my spirits every time I take it out.
New heavy duty battery, new alternator, new AC condensor and a few tasteful visual improvements. Nothing to affect its authentic character.
ICS infotainment works perfectly. Audio amplifier is faulty so I have an OEM replacement included in the deal.
No rust, no dents, remarkable condition given it age, though not perfect of course. Only issues I am aware of are a drivers mirror that doesn't fold automatically and, erm, that's it!
Elec windows, alarm, electric heated seats and central locking are working fine and it has the original red key, though no second key.
Was intended to be a lifetime second car for weekends but it hasn't even been used that little; it deserves more use and feels better when used regularly; nothing quite drives like these beauties, one of the best Alfa Romeos of all time. Snap this one up while you still can as they are getting rarer, especially at this mileage and condition.
