The Gen II 987 were treated to a performance boost thanks to the introduction of the larger 2. 9 litre 6 cylinder motor, which makes 265 bhp. That's an increase of approximately 20 bhp over the 2. 7 litre predecessor, and with a 6 speed manual transmission as standard.
Great fun to drive, the mid-engined layout provides an exceptionally balanced chassis. The overall package is responsive and agile, great for B-road blasts, though equally as happy on a run to the supermarket (and surprisingly practical too!).
