Description
HERE is my gorgeous 1971 Mark IV Spitfire in Wedgewood Blue, a great colour for this Triumph sports car.
She is in superb condition all round and, in the main, appears to be original which is quite amazing in itself for one of these fine true Brit sports cars. Great underneath and super panel fit on the body.
Her mileage of 61, 000 is correct and can be traced via the car's history file which includes 35 MoTs with which you can follow the vehicle's mileage from new.
The original Triumph Passport to Service book is with the car and shows the servicing stamped up to 40, 000 miles. The remaining 20k miles have been covered in the past 40 years and so this stunning Spit has hardly been overworked.
She sounds as sweet as can be and drives magnificently with an optional factory fitted overdrive on 3rd and 4th.
Floors, for example, remain in body colour as is the bulkhead area. There are some minute areas where you can see what I believe to be factory primer beneath the paint. She has one or two stone chips due to natural wear but please do not confuse this super example with restored, part-restored or botched versions.
This is is about as good as you are going to find. And anyone coming to view could not possibly - in my opinion - leave without purchasing her! She also comes with a hard top, covered in black vinyl.
I can assist with delivery and so please ask for a quote. Thanks, Martin. the details below.
