Supplied new to New Zealand; this early Jaguar Mark 1 Saloon has has a full & thorough restoration performed upon it putting it in tip top order. The car is finished in Cornish Grey with a red leather interior & red carpets.
The car has resided in a small colletion where it has been very very well looked after & maintained. It starts intstantly & the rebuilt engine pulls beautifully though the original rebuilt moss gear box making all the right noises whilst doing so.
During restoration in New Zealand the car was completely dis-assembled & all rust & corrosion dealt with. All mechanical parts were renewed, refurbished or replaced as required. Pleasingly the original finish was retained to the woodwork etc giving the car a nice original feel to the interior.
The car sits on four knock off Chrome wire wheels shod with 4 excellent recent tyres. It is a delight to drive & elicits smiles from all who see it. This is a fully sorted car that has been sparingly used on dry days & is absolutely ready for extended immediate use.
