We are pleased to offer this fine example of Morris’s ever popular Minor.
A 1933 car, it features the rounded tail which to our mind is more attractive than the later squared off rear end.
An older restoration, the Morris has been lovingly maintained and still presents extremely well. It is in excellent overall condition.
Importantly the Minor is fitted with a 4 speed gearbox and hydraulic brakes making it a very usable small pre-war car.
A very comprehensive history file comes with the car and goes back to 1967. It includes a buff log book, lots of bills, MoT history, maintenance log and correspondence with former owners.
The engine starts easily and shows excellent oil pressure. All the instruments work including the fuel gauge and the car drives nicely with gearbox, clutch and brakes all working correctly.
It has full weather equipment in black double duck with correctly functioning sidescreens.
Recent work includes new distributor, condenser, plugs and tyres.
Direction indicators are fitted as well as a battery isolator switch.
A huge amount of spares is to be sold with the car.
Now VSCC eligible, the Minor makes an ideal introduction to pre-war motoring being straightforward to maintain with excellent support from the Pre War Minor Network and good spares availability.
Overall a most enchanting little car and one that will give a great deal of pleasure to the next owner.
