1962 TRIUMPH TR3B
A very good sound condition and nice running and driving very late model "Side-Screen" TR.
My own car for many years - since 2006.
TR Enthusiasts will know the rarity of the TR3B model, only sold in the USA.
Basically a TR3A fitted with improved brakes and the later all synchro TR4 gearbox.
Only 1500 TSF models with 1991cc engines a further 1500 TCF variants were produced with the 2138cc engine, this particular car being a genuine and the more desirable 2138cc TCF version.
Rarer than a TR5.
This ex-California car was imported by Geoff and Sheila Mansfield of the Northern TR Centre in the very late 1980s.
Fully restored in house by them, UK registered in 1989 and used by two owners occasionally yet continually since then.
The car was converted at that time from left to right hand drive.
The body and chassis can be described as excellent.
Invoices provide evidence that both outer sills have been replaced, however it would appear all other panels are believed to be original and in superb condition.
Appears to be the original paint on both the inside and underside of the floor pans.
This car is a true testament of how superb these earlier and genuine California imported cars were at that time.
Again, mechanically this car is excellent.
The previous owner appears to have had no reluctance to spend money on this investment and virtually everything on the car has been restored, renewed or replaced with many parts being tastefully up-rated along the way.

25 plus year old paintwork shows some very minor signs of age.
Best described as show condition - but not an outright concours winner.
There are no signs of rust, nor any signs of previous rust repair.
Excellent panel fit and no evidence of previous damage repair.

Comes with original parts including front and rear bumpers and brackets, soft-top with frame and side screens.
I rarely use this much admired car and with some reluctance I would consider selling it.
