BIKES HISTORY:
The last keeper acquired this Norton during lockdown in the early part of 2020 as a Norton model 55 rolling chassis with no engine, he then set upon the bike to make it into reliable good working special by fitting a 1952 Norton ES2 500 motor
ES2 Engine fits frame with no mods.
Engine has new piston and has been rebored which has been run in.
Gear box is set up well and does not jump out of gear.
The mag has been refurbished and starts hot or cold.
The Norton has been rewired.
New wheel rims and spokes.
New Classic Vintage tyres & tubes fitted.
8 Inch front headlight Miller type.
It is a model 55 frame which would have been supplied with a 350cc twin port engine according to the Norton Club records certificate.
Starts first or second kick so long as it is not flooded.
Quick bike.
RIDE OUTS SINCE
The Norton's first ride out was in mid 2020 and has since been enjoyed on many ride outs, easy starter and plenty of power, 100% great fun.

Easy starter with nice smoke free engine + fully functioning de compressor lever to assist starting, Smooth gearbox which selects well, Nice light weight clutch mechanism with no slippage, Good brakes for stopping.
Nice riding position ( You can sit back in style and cruise all day at 50mph with ease )
Runs well on normal good high grade petroleum fuel, BP / SHELL / Esso / Texaco etc : )
