These entry-level Porsche's are a fantastic investment and according to the DVLA database there are only 115 Porsche 924S's left!
This lovely example was supplied new by Porsche dealer Parks of Exeter Ltd to its first owner in Bristol and registered on 17th January 1986.
It is finished in Guards Red with Blue/ Grey Porsche logo fabric trim, black carpets, electric and removable Sunroof, electric front windows, electric mirrors, Kenwood Radio/ CD Player, original 2. 5 litre 150bhp Engine, 5 Speed Manual Gearbox (both as fitted to the 944) and sitting on the standard Porsche Teledial five-hole Alloy Wheels
Purchased by the last owner in April 1999, the car has now covered 145, 097 miles from new with a full and comprehensive service history and it has been serviced and maintained by Porsche specialist GT One Ltd since 2004 with works including a new Clutch @ 133, 800 miles and a top end overhaul and a Cam belt service @ 141, 359 miles. It comes with all books and manuals, invoices, MOT certificates and 3 sets of keys. It is also clear on all HPi registers and the national mileage register.
Overall the car is in very nice condition, but it does have a few minor blemishes and some small parking dents, but nothing drastic. The interior trim is in overall good condition although the drivers seat cover needs to be replaced due to wear, but any money spent will be well worth it. It does drive beautifully and it is a car that can be driven regularly.
The 924S is the last and best of the 924 range, with the same 2. 5-litre engine as the 944, but in a lighter body that retains the purity of the 924’s lines. With 150bhp on tap, it’s a surprisingly nippy and fun car to drive with predictable and neutral handling and decent performance, wrapped up in an extremely useable and practical package. Today, good examples of this modern classic Porsche are hard to come by, which is why you should grab one now before prices rise!
Upon sale the car will be given a new MOT and pre-sales service and come with a 6 month mechanical warranty.
