This mid-1963 Austin Healey 3000 MKII BJ7 represents an excellent opportunity to buy a very good condition, low mileage, original engine, original colours, very desirable wind-up window car with just 65, 000 miles from new finished in the ever-popular Healey Blue and Ivory Duotone paint scheme.
On the outside the vehicle in question presents very nicely with duotone paint added at the end of 2018 and the rest of the bodywork in nice clean condition owing to an earlier restoration of a high standard. Much of the brightwork on the car has recently been renewed and LED headlights have been fitted to drastically improve night-time usability. In March 2020 the present owner fitted a new mohair roof, mohair tonneau and mohair hood bag plus new stainless wire wheels.
This Healey, AOD 524A, is provided in excellent mechanical condition with a new steering box, gearbox rebuild, additional electric fan, refurbished dampers plus major service provided by us in June 2018. Prior to this the history file of the car details a further £10, 000 spent on the engine/ drivetrain with another Healey specialist. Magnecor electronic ignition has also recently been fitted plus a Denis Welch side exhaust.
Inside the car presents extremely well with Navy leather seating, new carpets fitted in 2018, a retrimmed dashboard and rear quarter panels in 2020 plus all the original and beautiful gold coloured instrumentation present with LED backlighting added. A 12V power port has been fitted.
