This lovely Chummy was formerly the property of Racing Driver Terry Sanger who was was famous for many things and notably for winning the Redex Saloon Car Championship in 1967 in his Lotus Cortina. Terry purchased this Seven in 1997 in his retirement and set about a 5 year nut and bolt restoration to a very high standard and then used the Seven at club events and around his home town in a West Wales up until his passing in 2013, the car then remained unused until present which has now been recommissioned and presents as excellent, which is testament to the restoration completed by Terry some 18 years previous. The Seven drives superbly with super quiet engine and very positive steering and enthusiastically starts easily from cold on the handle or electric starter. Beautifully trimmed leather interior, excellent hood, hood cover and side screens, original jack and wheel brace and a selection of tools,, Original Seven fuel dipping gauge, Owners Manual and The Story of Terry Sanger Book accompany the car, Shod with 5 excellent Avon tyres, this Seven was built in 1929 and registered in 1930 and is a matching Numbers with its original engine date stamped 1929, the registration DS 6992 was its original issue number, these sevens put a big smile on ones face and I personally think this car offers huge value with its superior restoration and lovely history as well as being a matching numbers 1929 build car.
