1975/ P MG Midget 1500cc in Vermilion Red.
Major restoration in 2004 costing £7, 000 with supporting invoices and photos. All rust cut out and new panels fitted, new front wings, bonnet etc and full repaint all done professionally to a high standard.
Immaculate paintwork and engine bay.
Seats and carpets replaced.
New Leather Mota-Lita steering wheel. Comes with indoor cotton dust cover, Haynes manual etc.
With little use since restoration this Midget starts easily and revs up nicely. The 1500cc Triumph engine with twin inch and a half SU carburettors has far more torque than the 1275cc so pulls strongly. The clutch and gearbox work nicely and are quiet, although going down the gearbox there’s a slight snick in second unless taken slowly. Diff is quiet and brakes pull up straight and true.
This is a really nice and extremely presentable Midget ready to be used and enjoyed.
Will be fully serviced by us and will come with a new (voluntary) MOT Brand New battery just fitted and four brand new tyres.
