1967 Jaguar 420, LHD US version with automatic transmission, power steering and A/ C.
This is a project car for partial or complete restoration. The body has damage to the left front.
Apart from the damage, the body needs attention, but is generally solid. Older respray in factory original opalescent silver blue, the paint is cracked and worn. Hence, the car needs a bare metal respray.
Old repair work is visible underneath a layer of spray filler, especially on the lower body sections. Here it needs metalwork, though the floors, sills and other structural sections appear solid, without signs of previous repair.
The blue interior needs to be partially renovated. Missing carpets on the left hand driver and passenger side. Although the leather is generally in good and supple condition, it has damage to a strip on the driver's seating area.
The Jaguar 4. 2 litre engine runs and the car is driveable. It will require at least a thorough mechanical check up before it should be considered roadworthy. Included is a service invoice from 2017, when it thad its last oil and filter change. The car is equiped with airconditioning and power steering. A battery is not included.
A classic Jaguar saloon with great potential, this 420 project car deserves to be restored.
