The car is from new sold by Jaguar Importer Ole Sommer and is based on the chassis number one of the very last produced, the car has been owned by the same family over 40 years and has only driven 108, 000 km in that lifetime.
Jaguar has produced a total of 10, 222 examples of the 420 model, of which only 2, 628 were left-hand drive like this one and also with mileage / km/ h instead of miles in the speedometer and trip counter
But you feel almost completely royal when you get in, behind the time-typical large, but thin steering wheel, and if you take a look around at the almost vertical dashboard with analogue instruments and rocker switches, you would rather sit it is just to take a seat on the "sofa" and ask "James to drive".
There is no doubt that when you have had such a car for so long, it has undoubtedly been continuously maintained and in the 90's it was time for a renovation where it has also been repainted, but has chosen to let leather and woodwork be the original and it therefore has a little patina here and there, Likewise, in 2021 it has a new automatic transmission.
