We are very pleased to be able to offer this rare car to the market. This car was supplied new by Phoenix of Sutton to a Mr Follenfant of Croydon, Surrey and registered on 6th January 1981. This gentleman kept it for just over a year and it was then passed to the family we bought it from. The history file is extensive with every receipt in the file, a complete mot history from new to date, a lovely handwritten book of anything that was ever done to the car. It also has all its old tax discs and supplying dealer book pack. The Escort is presented superbly throughout and drives just as you would expect. It would probably be hard to find a better mk2 Estate, let alone a Huntsman. For anyone who does not know the history of the model, Ford built 350 Escort Huntsmans and 150 Cortinas and they were supplied through Ford main dealers in south east england. All the cars were finished in Huntsman red with gold coachline, except for a few that offered in dual tone as an extra. So this is therfore a very rare car now and must be one of the best left in existence. Viewing is more than welcome at any time by arrangement.
