The Sport 15 was the direct successor to the Sport 14. The biggest innovation was the saddle tank, which was now being used for the first time. Until then, all motorcycles still had the plug-in tank. The alternately controlled motor with 500 ccm was considered to be very robust and reliable. Like its predecessor, the motorcycle had the manual 3-speed gearbox.
